BayNews9.com -  Woman shot, killed outside restaurant where she worked BRADENTON (Bay News 9) -- A woman was shot and killed outside of a restaurant in Bradenton where she worked Saturday afternoon.

Pamela Lerose, 39, was allegedly shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend Matthew White, 27, outside of Peach's Restaurant at 5702 Cortez Road West, authorities said.

"Customers were in shock, tears -- everybody was," restaurant owner Mike Luciano said.

According to Luciano, the suspect used the back door to get into the restaurant. He then walked through the restaurant with a gun case in his hand, allegedly looking for Lerose who was the house manager.

"Some of the customers say they thought something was going on
but they didn't react as quickly," Luciano said. "They didn't see the gun."

Police said after a brief chase they found White about 10 minutes away with a gunshot to the head.
